"it is frequently at the edges of things that we learn the most about the middle: ice and steam can reveal more about the nature of water than water alone ever could." -walter murch
this life is much the same.
it is only when things overflow, shatter, freeze or dissipate do we learn the truest nature of ourselves and the world around us.
we're all in this race together, but we can't be holding on to each other the entire trip.
and if at some point, your hand has slipped from mine, or mine from yours
we'll catch up later..
i'm sure.
and to you, my dear, hanging on to that edge
all alone
i feel you. head down taking a beating from the storm
but the point is to go through it, to walk through the rain
keep walking. keep on walking.
we're right behind you.
love.
